*So, aware that I posted in reserves but then finished before getting a reply there, so I figure it's alright just to stick the app up. Hopefully.
Name: Ivan Braginsky
Country: Russia
Gender: Male
House cat/street cat: Housecat, but that doesn’t mean he won’t go explore other cat’s houses, and sometimes attempts to move in.
Appearance: He’s a very large cat, probably at least mostly Siberian. Besides being generally just a larger cat, he also has a good amount of fur, making him appear even larger, and rather fluffy. His coat is mostly brown, with a bit of white around his throat that almost looks like he is wearing a white scarf. There is some farther white on his tail and on his back paws. He may have a house, but he does not wear a collar—at least not one that can be seen.
Personality:
Really, all he truly wants is a measure of affection and love. He’s been alone for most of his life, and has a good deal of trouble making friends. A good part of this comes from the fact that he honestly has no social skills, which can be a side effect of spending so much time alone. Further, he doesn’t really understand his own strength, or perhaps when he’s not wanted in an area.
He doesn’t ever really mean to be cruel, though sometimes he can be ((and, well, with certain cats he can mean it, but those are only exceptions)). But a lot like his strength, he just doesn’t think things through, or really understands how others are going to react to them. His mannerisms can be slightly coarse sometimes, but he usually means well. Honestly, he’s not terribly effective at the things he does, but he tries really hard.
This is also a cat that generally means everything he says, even when it sounds absurd or possibly even slightly frightening to others. If he thinks something is for somecat’s own good, then he goes with it, even if this might not in fact be the case at all.
Likes:
*Nice baths, and having his long fur combed out.
*Warmth, either from a fire, somecat beside him, or lying in the sun.
*Having Friends. Whether those friends want him or not is not relevant to him.
*Traditional Russian music, when he can figure out some way to play the radio. He’s also a fan of Russian dances, and would like to find a way to adapt such a thing to a cat’s body. It’s not been going so well.
*Vodka, if he can find a bottle of it open and lying around.
*Being around others.
*Summer
Dislikes:
*Cats arguing with him. He tends to prefer being right, and does not take kindly to being told he’s probably not.
*Being alone. It’s happened enough in the past he hates very little more.
*Arrogance. It’s one thing coming from him, another from others.
*Hamburgers. Evil of the world in food form.
*Winter. He hates the cold, and is not too fond of the snow either.
History:
He was born in a smallish litter, having two sisters. Perhaps because of this he tends to want to surround himself with more and more cats. His owner also lived for the most part alone, and while they’re not on the best side of town, they’re not on the worst either. He’s always had his tuna after all, and no material complaints.
Despite being well off, he’s never stopped wanting more, and throughout his life has been known to range toward territory he should perhaps not, and has been known to get into fights with other cats—though he insists he just was trying to be friends with them. ((Leaving this section vague since there are so few characters yet and I don’t want to step on any later player’s toes with forcing them into a feud with Ivan)).
As of late however, either due to the fact that he’s terrified these cats into submission, or the fact that times change, he’s been encountering other cats a good deal more than when he was younger, and sometimes seeming to even get along with them. His owner has always let him run free in the streets, though it’s preferred that he is home in time for dinner at night.
Roleplay sample:
Ivan purred softly, laying on his back in the sun, making sure his stomach was getting enough of the rays. There was a reason he was always so pleased when spring started to appear in the air again, and warmth started to seep back into the world. Wiggling slightly, he rolled over, letting his side soak up some of the warmth, his tail swishing behind him.
Ears perking forward, he thought he heard the distant sound of other voices, but was feeling sleepy enough at that point to not go and explore, though if they found him, he wouldn’t mind, and if whoever it was were still around later, he might go see who they were. With another faint purr, he rolled over again, washing one of his paws when it came into sight and he realized how badly it needed to be groomed. He rather liked this rooftop, that he had found a while ago while exploring and poking around to see if any other cats wanted to play. It was higher up, and thus warmer than some of his other sunbathing spots, and there were some nice potted plants around, and a small greenhouse. Through the greenhouse wall, he could see some flowers that he thought were called sunflowers. Whatever they were called though, he adored them and came up to this rooftop often to look at them. The flowers embodied warmth to him.
Pulling his weight forward again, he settled on his stomach, finally letting his back get its dose of sunlight.

Contact: I have a skype, but I’d rather give that out via PM at my discretion.
Anything else? I should probably not be putting up character apps for anything right as I head into finals week. But ah well. Here it is anyway.
