Appearance: Black, silky fur. VERY SOFT ARU~ Yellow eyes and a little natural ponytail resting down across his neck.
Personality: Yao is a very independent cat. At least that’s how he likes to see himself. In reality he’s happy he’s got someone to feed him and snuggle him every day, and considering he’s so fond of food and would never miss a meal, that’s probably for the best. He’s got a temper, so better not piss him off. He bites and scratches.
But despite his temper, Yao is a caring cat towards the ones he cares about.
Really.
Likes: Food (especially Chinese food), baths (they make him pretty), climbing things and enjoying the view (especially from the roof). And he loves to “big brother” people. Cause he’s so caring =D
Dislikes: Russiacat ( he’s not afraid! What are you talking about!) snow ( what? It’s cold ;3; ), thunderstorms, being disrespected and that his owner sometimes forgets to heat up his food. It’s important! D: AND DOGS. FOR GOOD REASON. Also, he hates being mistaken for a female cat. Some people do :l
History: Yao was adopted from the streets of China by a sweet woman when he was a little kitten. He doesn’t know what happened to his mother, but he thinks she’s either somewhere far away or dead. He can’t really remember from back then, it’s been a long time ago. A couple of years after he was adopted, he was attacked by a dog, leaving a painful scar on his back. His fur is covering it now, so it’s hard to see, but it’s made him fear dogs.
After many years, Yao still lives with that woman, and has no plans of leaving anytime soon.
Roleplay sample: The sun was peeking in through the curtains. Obviously his owner hadn’t pulled them together enough, cause the little sunbeam was hitting Yao right in the face. He huffed and covered his eyes with his paws. “Nyaa, too early…” He muttered and turned around, determined to get more sleep.
No use though. His owner was already up and humming on a nice Chinese melody as she was getting ready for a new day. The curtains got pulled apart, making Yao yelp and jump off the bed. That was not a comfortable way to wake up! He frowned and licked his paw a little, but his owner was happy anyway, and picked him up to give him a hug and a kiss. “Rise and shine, Yao-Yao!”
Yao frowned again. Shine. Right. He sighed and let her carry him downstairs. At least there was breakfast…
